Chancelee Morgan: Paidha Black Angels Assistant Coach bid farewell

Big League new entrants Paidha Black Angels Assistant Coach Chancelee Morgan has left the club after two seasons.

Chancelee joined Paidha Black Angels in the 2022/2023 campaign from West Nile Regional League side Paidha United.

After guiding the club to the Betpawa Big League Promotion, he bid an emotional farewell to the club.

“Dear Paidha Black Angels Family, It’s with a mix of sadness and pride that I bid farewell to the team after an incredible year,” he started.

Paidha Black Angels ejected Northern Region Champions Northern Gateway FC to storm the second division following a 2-0 victory at Bar Okoro stadium courtesy of Opakrwoth Benjamin and Lutakome Juma goals in the second leg after a goalless draw at the UTC Ground in Lira.

He continued “Together, we achieved our goal of promoting to the FUFA BIG LEAGUE, and I’m honored to have been part of this journey”.

Chancelee expressed his gratitude to the club President Mr Jakony Robert, Finance Secretary Madam Zulaika and the entire technical staff headed by Mr Hassan Nassur.

“I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Chairman Jakony Robert for the trust and opportunity, Madam ZULAIKA for her financial support and dedication, and the technical team staff for their hard work and collaboration”.

The Gaffer also gave his appreciation to the players for their commitment & synergy and the fans for rallying behind the team.

“To the players, I’ll never forget your discipline, dedication, and love – you were one of the best teams I’ve ever managed, and I love you so much”.

“To the fans, your support was invaluable – 70% of our success is attributed to you! I’ll miss you, but I’ll join you as the twelfth player, cheering from the stands”

Despite leaving the club as a coach, Chancelee has vowed to always offer his support to the club and he recall his role as a fan were his love for the club started and he will forever be part of the Blacks

“Although I won’t be part of the technical team this season, my absence doesn’t mean I’ll be disconnected from the team. I’ll continue to support and offer help when needed”.

“I’ll miss this great club, but I’m excited to return to my roots at PIRIBINEGA STAGE, where my story began”

“Thank you all again, and I wish Paidha Black Angels the best of luck in the upcoming FUFA BIG LEAGUE season. May God bless and guide us to meet again in the future”

According to reports, Chancelee who is also a certified Game Coordinator in the Startimes Uganda Premier, has attracted interest from unknown regional league clubs and Betpawa Big League.
