Yesterday, the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) leadership in the Buganda region, led by Hon. Yusuf Nsibambi, Deputy President overseeing Buganda, convened a crucial meeting aimed at enhancing mobilization and recruitment efforts.
A key outcome of the meeting was the decision to organize a major rally in the East Buganda sub-region. The event is set to take place at the Railway Grounds – Lwagadugu in Lugazi Municipality, Buikwe District, on Saturday, August 17th, 2024.
To ensure the rally’s success, a central organizing committee has been established, chaired by His Worship Hon. Asea John Baptist Onzima, Mayor of Lugazi Municipality. This rally marks the sixth edition of the party’s nationwide mobilization and recruitment campaign and will include the launch of digital membership registration.
The FDC leadership anticipates that this event will significantly bolster their efforts in the Buganda region and reinforce their presence nationwide.
