Former Onduparaka midfielder Joel Jangeyambe has signed a two-year contract extension with Big League newcomers Paidha Black Angels, SportsNation can confirm.
Jangeyambe, who joined Paidha Black Angels in January from Nebbi Central, played a crucial role in the team’s promotion to the Big League.
He scored two vital goals, including the winner against rivals Paidha United as well as at Zeu Central, and was instrumental in midfield with his tireless work ethic.
With his experience and maturity shining through, Jangeyambe helped drive the team to achieve their objective of returning to the second division.
His previous stints at Blacks Power, Onduparaka, and Nebbi Central have undoubtedly contributed to his growth as a player.
Although Paidha Black Angels have been quiet in the transfer window, behind-the-scenes activities suggest exciting developments in player recruitment.
With Jangeyambe committing to the club for another two years, Hassan Nassur and Chancelee Morgan’s side are on the right track.
Paidha Black Angels secured their spot in the Big League with a 2-0 win over Northern Gateway in the promotional playoffs, following a goalless draw in the first leg at the UTC Ground in Lira.
