Wakiso Giants have officially unveiled Hudson Mbalire as their fourth new signing in the ongoing transfer window.
The exciting young forward has signed a three-year contract with the Purple Sharks, joining the Uganda Premier League side from Regional League club, Catda.
Born in January 2005, the 19-year-old has just committed himself to stay with the Wakiso side until 2027, when he turns 23.
“We believe his energy and enthusiasm will quickly resonate with our supporters, and we look forward to seeing him flourish in the purple jersey,” the club announced following the player’s unveiling.

“Hudson is an exceptional talent with a bright future. His goal-scoring instincts and vision on the pitch are precisely what we need to enhance our attack. I’m excited to work with him and help him reach new heights,” Wakiso Giants head coach Steven Bengo added.
Mbalire was impressive with CATDA last season, he scored eleven goals and contributed eight assists in the third division.
His ability to find the back of the net and creating chances for teammates is what lured Wakiso Giants into signing him, to boost their attacking options.
The Purple Sharks have also so far unveiled Vincent Zziwa, from BUL, Derrick Kaija from UPDF and Zambian international Eric Kabamba.
