MTN Uganda and Microsoft Join Forces to Propel Digital Transformation

MTN Uganda has unveiled a strategic partnership with Microsoft aimed at accelerating digital and cloud transformation initiatives across the country. This collaboration stands as a pivotal achievement within MTN’s Ambition 2025 strategy, transitioning the telecom giant into a leading technology solutions provider driving innovation across Africa.

The announcement, which gathered key stakeholders from both entities, including media, business partners, and esteemed customers, highlighted the practical applications and benefits stemming from this synergy. The integration of Microsoft Teams, a platform also offered by MTN Uganda to its clientele, underscored the harmonious alignment between the two organizations.

Ibrahim Senyonga, General Manager of MTN Uganda’s Enterprise Business Unit, emphasized the significance of the alliance: “Our partnership with Microsoft underscores our commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology solutions that foster progress and innovation in Uganda. This collaboration enhances our capacity to provide superior digital and cloud services, empowering businesses of all scales to thrive in the digital age.”

Certified as a Microsoft Solutions Partner, MTN Uganda’s accreditation affirms its expertise in Microsoft’s suite of products and its track record of delivering top-tier customer solutions.

“We take immense pride in achieving Microsoft Solutions Partner status,” Senyonga added. “This certification not only underscores our technical proficiency but also our unwavering dedication to delivering exceptional service to our customers.”
